Don’t rush greatness. Let the batter rest for 5–7 minutes before it hits the pan or waffle iron. Our flour blend loves a moment to hydrate — and you’ll be rewarded with fluffier pancakes, crispier edges, and serious breakfast bragging rights.
Ingredients:
- Steiner's Flour 1.5 cups or 237 grams
- Baking Powder 3 tsp or 15 grams
- Granulated Sugar 1 TBS or 12.5 grams
- Eggs 1 large or 50 grams
- Butter, salted 6 TBS or 84 grams
- Milk or preferred substitute 1 cup or 240 grams
Directions:
- Combine all wet ingredients including melted butter
- Add dry ingredients to wet
- Mix thoroughly - should be silky smooth
- Adjust thickness by adding more of your “dairy” preference
- Add vanilla, fruit, cinnamon or chocolate chips
- finish as a pancake or waffle
Notes: Add chocolate chips, fruit, cinnamon or vanilla extract to taste after the batter is thoroughly mixed. You can substitute your preferred “dairy” option. You may want to thicken or thin the batter based on your preference.
